the scouts movements all over the world have their programmes in helping the community surrounded or world wide as well,also tanzania scouts association have different programmes dealing with community issues,these programmes are to be done by local associations,tanga scouts local association is one of the local association which do these programmes like HIV PROGRAMMES,HEALTH PROGRAMMES,STOP USING DRAGS PROGARAMMES,ENIROMENTAL PROGRAMMES ect.but we do these mostly by cooperating with some ngos and the government.
but sometimes we as scouts especially tanga scouts have alot of our own programmes that we have to do as tanga local association in order to contribute our effort to the nation and our community as well.some of the programmes that we have at hand are like,
1. KEEPING STREET CHILDREN TOGETHER AND HELP THEM.
2.GIVING OUR EFFORT ON MAKING A CAMPAIGN ON HIV/AIDS PREVENTION
3.OPEN UP A PERMANENT GROUP OF SCOUTS WHICH WILL DEAL WITH ALL ENVIROMENTAL ISSUES IN OUR REGION.
4.CAMPAIGNING BY VISSITING ALL THE GROUPS OF YOUTH IN OUR REGION GIVING THEM EDUCATION ABOUT STOPPING THE USES OF DRUGS ect,
but these programmes faced with the luck of financial surppot.we as a local association doesnt have enough funds to run these programmes so we need anyone arround the world who will me touched and willing to help us we welcome him/her.we will thank him/her for his effort and contributions in helping us,we invite all the scouts associations around the world,groups of scouts around the world,ngos and all who will be able to help us.our contacts are.
